CthulhuTech Core Book Re-release

You're
probably wondering where the heck CthulhuTech
is right now.
It'll be back on shelves shortly, but it'll be a
different book. It'll be black & white. Here's
why.
We run into a lot of people who are under the misconception that we are a sizable company with sizable resources. That's not the case. There are only three of us and we do this in our spare time. We finance everything from our own pockets. So you can imagine that we have to take our profit margin very seriously.
After looking at the initial release of CthulhuTech, we realized that we could not continue to publish the CthulhuTech Core Book in color and continue to publish. Sure, the book's selling well and we could make our way through the next year and eventually dry up and blow away. But we are committed to seeing CthulhuTech through and getting you each and every book we have planned, so that you can experience both the setting and the story in its entirety. We had to make a hard choice, and it was a hard choice that spanned many meetings. The choice was to re-release the CthulhuTech Core Book in black and white.
The good news is that the book will be $10 cheaper. And for those of you have the color first run, you have a collector's edition.
What's happened to the color edition of the book? It's not gone. It's just gone digital. For the time being, our print versions of CthulhuTech books will be black and white, but our electronic editions will be full-color. Our digital books are also extensively bookmarked and fully index-linked to maximize usability.
The electronic edition of CthulhuTech is available right now from Drive-Thru RPG. However, the printed version of the book won't be available until June. Par for the course, we hit another delaying round of printer problems. Hopefully they are all resolved now. Some days, it really does seem like the Old Ones don't want this book to be in print.
As soon as we are able, we'll bring back our books in color. In the mean time, we've discovered that black and white gives CthulhuTech a new moody feel that we didn't expect. Still high quality, we hope you'll continue to enjoy CthulhuTech as much as we do.
